Father’s Day Weekend Extravaganza
Bring your Dads, Grandads, Step-Dads, Uncles and any of the other special men in your life to The
Duck this Father’s Day weekend. And don’t forget the doggy Dad’s – they need a treat too…
Friday 19th June
We’re kicking off Father’s Day Weekend on Friday 19th June with Live Music from the acoustic trio High Tide. Music starts from 6pm, so come and grab a table early. The garden was full for our last live music event.
You’ll be spoilt for choice with food options. We’ll have the charcoal BBQ from 6pm in the garden, serving burgers and sausages, alongside which you can order any of our bar bites.
And, the outside bar will be open, so you’ll be waiting less time for your next cold drink!
Inside the restaurant, we will be serving our full Main Menu with à la carte and classic options. Plus our Ducklings menu for the children.
Dogs and children welcome.
Saturday 20th June
Come and enjoy lunch or dinner from 12pm right through until 9pm. And we’re open until 11pm for drinks. You can enjoy our set lunch menu, our à la carte and bar bites menu.
It’s a great day to bring the Doggy Dads along with their four-legged friends. Dogs can enjoy a tasty treat – the only condition is that they must bring a human, and they need to pay for their food.
Sunday 21st June - Breakfast
This Father’s Day, we are opening the doors early at The Duck for a special breakfast event.
Traditional ‘Fry Up’ – 2 poached eggs, crispy bacon, sausage, mushrooms, and roasted tomato, and baked beans.
Breakfast will be served between 10am and 12pm on Father’s Day, Sunday 21st June. Last seating will be 11.30am.
Sunday 21st June - Roast Lunch
Celebrate Father’s Day with a hearty roast lunch in our family and dog friendly gastropub. You can book a table from 12pm until 5pm.
Our Sunday roasts are always a firm favourite, with seasonal vegetables, golden roast potatoes and a rich, mouthwatering gravy. There’ll be a choice of beef, lamb, pork, or a combination of all three, plus a fish dish and a vegetarian dish.
And you’ll be spoilt for choice with our starters and desserts. Our Sunday roasts offer very generous portions, so three courses might be stretching things, even for the Dads, but we’re sure you’ll want room for dessert…
